Every AKIHI piece is handcrafted in Jaipur using hand-picked materials, elaborate craftsmanship and extreme care. We guarantee the quality of our wares and therefore request that you follow the instructions below to increase the life of your jewelry:

• Store each piece of jewelry separately in the cotton pouch/box received with the purchase, to prevent the risk of scratches and nicks.
• Store away from direct heat and sunlight as prolonged exposure can cause discoloration of beads and threads.
• Avoid contact with hard, abrasive materials and surfaces.
• Take care to keep the jewelry dry and away from water, lotion, hairspray, makeup and fragrances, as it will escalate the likelihood of tarnishing. Avoid wearing them while engaging in activities like exercising, sports or swimming. Chemicals like chlorine, found in swimming pools, can severely damage the finish and loosen the settings of beads and other materials.
• After each wear, we suggest that you wipe down ONLY the back side (metal side) of the piece using a lint-free cloth to remove traces of sweat and makeup.
• Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off while getting ready. Doing this will ensure that it doesn’t get caught in your clothing for an accidental tug could damage the piece.

All of our rings are adjustable, and therefore adapt to all body shapes! This also allows you to change fingers depending on your current accumulations.

All of our bracelets are adjustable, and therefore adapt to all body types! Perfect for stacking them with other pieces from us, or with your own timeless pieces.

Within India: 

All products will be Made to Order. Your order will be shipped from Jaipur, India in 12 working days after confirmation. Akihi offers free shipping in India using the standard courier service. We do not offer cash on delivery. If you want expedited delivery, please email us at hello@akihi.ca. You will receive the tracking details over email, once your order is dispatched.

International Orders: 

All products will be Made to Order. Your order will be shipped from Jaipur, India in 15 working days after confirmation. We charge a flat shipping fee of CAD 45 for all international orders using the standard courier service. If you want expedited delivery, please email us at hello@akihi.ca. You will receive the tracking details over email, once your order is dispatched. Additional import, customs, and sales taxes may be added separately in accordance with your state or country's specific requirements. Please note we are not responsible for lost untracked packages due to mishandling by shipping agents worldwide.

RETURN POLICY

At Akihi, we create and sell handmade textile jewellery that are intricately embroidered and require highly skilled labour to make them. Each piece is unique and reflects the craftsmanship and creativity of our artisans.

We value your satisfaction and trust in our products. However, due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges of our jewellery, except in the case of damaged or defective items.

All products are put through stringent quality checks before being sent out to you to ensure that you enjoy wearing your stunning purchase hassle free! However, in the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged or you receive the wrong piece, please contact us at (hello@akihi.ca) within 24 HOURS of receiving your order with your purchase order number and image of the defective product/s and we will help you exchange your purchase.

How do you exchange?

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. For your protection, please use a well-padded box or envelope (please no envelopes for earrings or rings!) and a traceable carrier. We cannot be responsible for items that are lost or damaged during return shipping. All costs related to return shipping are paid by the customer.
• Make sure to keep the original packaging of your jewelry and that it is not damaged, stained or even already worn, otherwise the exchange would not be possible.
• Once we receive the product/s, our team will inspect the damage and once authorized, we will gladly offer you a replacement of your product. Allow us 3 working days from the day of receipt of your exchange package at our studio to get back to you with next steps.
• However, if we are not able to provide you with the same piece due to non-availability, we offer you the following refund options. Refund options for you- The customer can choose to get their refund in the following ways (ONLY IF WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A REPLACEMENT)
• A Store Credit of the refund value in your AKIHI account, which can be redeemed against any purchase. This will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue of the credit.
• Money back to the paid account/ credit card for all online orders
• Shipping charges cannot be refunded.

Please Note -

1. Items that you return should not be used, washed, altered/tampered or soiled.
2. All original packing, labels, tags, jewelry care cards etc. should be intact
3. All Handcrafted jewelry have minor irregularities which add to the overall uniqueness of the piece. Please allow for these slight variation as no two pieces of handmade jewelry can be identical
4. We have made every possible effort to accurately display colors as they appear on the Site. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee display of any color to be completely accurate as seen by you on your monitor screen

Cancellations

We shall not be able to process the cancellation if the order/orders are processed.
