RETURN POLICY

At Akihi, we create and sell handmade textile jewellery that are intricately embroidered and require highly skilled labour to make them. Each piece is unique and reflects the craftsmanship and creativity of our artisans.

We value your satisfaction and trust in our products. However, due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges of our jewellery, except in the case of damaged or defective items.

All products are put through stringent quality checks before being sent out to you to ensure that you enjoy wearing your stunning purchase hassle free! However, in the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged or you receive the wrong piece, please contact us at (hello@akihi.ca) within 24 HOURS of receiving your order with your purchase order number and image of the defective product/s and we will help you exchange your purchase.

 

How do you exchange?

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. For your protection, please use a well-padded box or envelope (please no envelopes for earrings or rings!) and a traceable carrier. We cannot be responsible for items that are lost or damaged during return shipping. All costs related to return shipping are paid by the customer.
  • Make sure to keep the original packaging of your jewelry and that it is not damaged, stained or even already worn, otherwise the exchange would not be possible.
  • Once we receive the product/s, our team will inspect the damage and once authorized, we will gladly offer you a replacement of your product. Allow us 3 working days from the day of receipt of your exchange package at our studio to get back to you with next steps.
  • However, if we are not able to provide you with the same piece due to non-availability, we offer you the following refund options. Refund options for you- The customer can choose to get their refund in the following ways (ONLY IF WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A REPLACEMENT)
  • A Store Credit of the refund value in your AKIHI account, which can be redeemed against any purchase. This will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue of the credit.
  • Money back to the paid account/ credit card for all online orders
  • Shipping charges cannot be refunded.

 

Please Note -

  1. Items that you return should not be used, washed, altered/tampered or soiled.
  2. All original packing, labels, tags, jewelry care cards etc. should be intact
  3. All Handcrafted jewelry have minor irregularities which add to the overall uniqueness of the piece. Please allow for these slight variation as no two pieces of handmade jewelry can be identical
  4. We have made every possible effort to accurately display colors as they appear on the Site. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee display of any color to be completely accurate as seen by you on your monitor screen

 

Cancellations

We shall not be able to process the cancellation if the order/orders are processed.

All sale items will be FINAL SALE.  There will be no returns or exchanges allowed on sale.
