Introducing Akihi

Hello, North America! We are thrilled to introduce you to Akihi, a brand that is set to redefine your jewelry collection with its unique handmade textile jewelry. Based out of Mississauga, Toronto, Akihi is a Canadian-Indian brand that creates wearable art with intricate embroidery and beadwork.

Discover Akihi

Akihi, meaning “bright” in Japanese, perfectly encapsulates the essence of our jewelry: bright, colorful, and eye-catching. Each piece of Akihi jewelry is hand-embroidered by our talented artisan, who spends hours of patience and skill to bring our designs to life.

Founded by Srishti Arora, Akihi crafts exquisite wearable expressions of Indian embroideries on a canvas of silk. Each creation passes through the skilled hands of dedicated craftsmen, ensuring that the innate delicacy of our pieces remains unblemished. What emerges is not merely an ornament; it’s a tangible testament to our rich craft heritage, reimagined in a contemporary fashion.

Meet the Designer

Srishti Arora, the visionary behind Akihi, is a graduate of Textile Design from Pearl Academy in Jaipur. With over three years of experience in the Indian textile industry, she has worn various hats, from designer to merchandiser, in three major Indian cities.

The inception of Akihi was born from Srishti’s deep-rooted affection for her hometown and its diverse craft traditions.
